Carob Chip


So simple, easy and quick! I love making these when my girls are popping round for a tea, because yes the chats are good, but the cookies sometimes are even better :) ok maybe not, maybe just equal :)


100g buckwheat flour

50g ground almonds

25g oil of choice 

50 ml milk of choice

3 tbsp carob chips

2 tbsp maple syrup

0.5 tsp vanilla essence

Pinch of salt


1. Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix together except the carob chips.

2. Add carob chips into mixture

3. Once all ingredients has formed into a dough like mixture take a tbsp and roll into balls. You can flatten them a little to make them into cookie shapes.

4. Cook for 12-15 minutes at 180 degrees.

Cooking Time: 12 minutes
