Turkish Walnut Salad

This is one of my favourite salads, especially in the summer. To be eaten on its own, or as a side it is super fresh, filled with vegetable goodness and nut protein. 

  • 4 medium tomatoes

  • 1 green pepper

  • 1 spring onion

  • 1/2 white onion

  • Handful parsley

  • Large handful of walnuts

  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oill

  • 1 Tbsp Pomegranate mollasses

  • 1 tsp sumak

  • Pinch of salt

  1. Chop tomatoes, peppers, and onions into very small pieces.

  2. Crush the walnuts and add to the salad.

  3. Chop the parsley and also add.

  4. Add the olive oil, pomegrante mollasses, sumak and salt.

  5. Enjoy!
