Avocado Mousse

Oh my if there was a win win recipe it would be this one. Chocolate mousse that is healthy! Yes, you heard right! Low sugar, unprocessed, natural, and filled with nutrients. This is the perfect after dinner pudding, and can be served with any toppings. That might be strawberries, and raspberries, maybe some mango and chocolate chips, or even some coconut frozen yoghurt. What ever that may be, it is just way more nutritious, yet sweet and easy to make! I hope you love it as much as I do!


  • 1 large ripe avocado

  • 1/4 cup raw cacoa powder

  • 1/4 cup coconut milk 

  • 2 tsp coconut blossom nectar (or other natural sweetener)

  • 1 tsp natural vanilla extract

  • Optional extras: toasted sliced strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, mango, almond butter, cocoa nibs, or coconut oil to add to mixture when mixing.


  1. Purée the avocado until smooth.

  2. Mix together the cacoa powder and milk until combined and add to the avocado.

  3. Stir in the coconut blossom nectar, vanilla extract, and any extra ingredients and mix well.

  4. Transfer the mousse to individual bowls and store in the fridge until ready to eat.

  5. Before serving add any of the suggested toppings or create your own!

Refrigerate: 30 minutes
