Avocado Bruschetta

Whether you want to serve these as mini canapés or as a wonderful starter, these crunchy pieces of bread, topped with the smooth avocado are a wonderful combination. You can decorate them with flowers too for an extra party affect.


  • 8 pieces of small sliced bread of your choice ( I like sourdough)

  • 2 avocados

  • 1 lemon

  • Pinch aalt

  • 6 basil Leaves

  • Flowers to decorate


  1. Peel the avocados and place them into the blender. Add the lemon, salt, and basil. Pulse through, either keeping some texture or making it a smoother paste.

  2. Toast the bread.

  3. Spread the paste onto the bread and decorate with flowers.
